Marcos Cruz handled both key art and unit stills photography on Novocaine, the action-comedy directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen for Paramount Pictures and FilmNation's Infrared label. Shot in Cape Town and starring Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder and Ray Nicholson, the film follows a man who can't feel pain pulled into a bank-heist rescue. Marcos's stills captured the bruised, blood-flecked humour of the on-set action while his key art shaped the campaign that carried the film to its global theatrical release.
